Older version of FileBack PC runs after installing automatic update |
This happens when the directory you are currently running FileBack PC from is
not the same directory as the original installation. The copy that is
being updated is the one in the original directory, not the one that you are
running. To fix this problem:
- Update your copy of FileBack PC to the latest version when prompted.
- When the new version begins to run, open the FileBack PC configuration
window and click on the "Options" page.
- Un-check the "Load at Windows Startup" options.
- Re-check the appropriate "Load at Windows Startup" option.
This will remove the startup link to the older version, and restore the link
to the newer version. We also suggest searching your hard drive for
FileBack.exe, and deleting the older versions of this file.
