| Can FileBack PC be run under a limited user account? |
FileBack PC can be run under a restricted User account, but several security
permissions need to be modified before it will work properly. The
following folders and registry keys need to be modified with read/write/delete
permissions for the user accounts under which FileBack PC is to be run:
- FileBack PC program files (normally C:\Program Files\FileBack PC)
- Any folders used for backups
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Maximum Output Software\FileBack PC
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Maximum Output Software\FileBack PC
If you do not have administrative rights to these locations please have a
system administrator make these adjustments.
