| FileBack PC locks up or gives an error message at startup |
In most cases this is caused by a corrupted configuration
file. Rename your FileBack.FBCfg file (normally found in C:\Program
Files\FileBack PC) and attempt to start FileBack PC. If it starts
normally you can use the File / Open Configuration File and load the backup
FileBack.FBBkCfg file. If it does not start with the configuration
file disabled, please contact us.
If you are running Release 18-May-2006 or newer, hold down the Control and
Shift keys while FileBack PC is starting to bypass the configuration file.
