| Does FileBack PC support CD-R/W? |
FileBack PC will perform backups to CD-R/CD-RW media if the following are
true:
- You have Windows XP's CD writing feature enabled, or packet writing software installed, such as Adaptec's DirectCD,
Ahead's InCD, and HP's DLA. (Other software packages exist, these being the most
common and well known.) FileBack PC requires access to the drive
through its drive letter, and does not communicate directly with CD
recorders.
- There is sufficient space on your backup media for your backup. As
disk spanning is not supported, you must have enough space on your CDs to
store your backup files.
